The brushless motor delivers more power, longer runtime and longer motor life. The drill/driver delivers up to 1,800 RPM for heavy-duty applications. In addition, it has a 2-speed gearbox for optimizing speed and control and a 24-position clutch for adjusting torque while driving fasteners.
