You can use this rubber pad on the floor jack for short time. When you want to lift the car and place it on a jack stand. Not suitable for long-time use on floor jack. When raising the car with a floor jack, the rubber pad maybe compresses and deform because of its slotted design. But after lowering your vehicle, it will bounce back to its original state.
